Satellite and surface data indicate that Arlene no longer
has a well-defined surface
circulation and has dissipated.
At 10pm the remnants of Tropical Storm Arlene were located
near
latitude
20.9 degrees north
and longitude 99.1 degrees west
or about 120mi / 190km
southwest of Tampico Mexico.
The remnants were moving west southwestward near
8mph / 13kmh
and this
motion
should continue for
the next day or so.
Maximum sustained winds are near 30mph / 45kmh
with
higher gusts.
Tropical Storm Arlene is not a threat to Jamaica.
